Marjory Stoneman Douglas’ Bennett Gary had a phenomenal high school career with the Eagles.
He won three State Championships and now has a slice of pizza named after him at All Star Pizza with the “Bennett Gary slice.”
This slice of pizza features all of Gary’s favorites with meatballs, cheese, and pepperoni.
Gary is set to attend the University of Miami this fall and shined on the field. After playing in only games as a sophomore, Gary homered twice during his junior year and also drove in 17 runs.
As a senior, he went on to hit four more home runs during the Eagles’ historic 5th straight title. He also added two doubles and 18 RBIs as he now sets his attention to college ball for one of the top teams in the country.
Gary was also invited to a Miami Marlins camp along with teammate Nick Diaz. A University of Georgia signee, Diaz also won multiple State Championships in high school and had the game-winning hit in the State Championship Game in 2024. He finished his high school career with seven home runs and also drove in 44 runs.
