
Marjory Stoneman Douglas Football faces Coconut Creek High School. {David Volz}
The Marjory Stoneman Douglas football held senior night on Friday before their 42-7 loss against Coconut Creek High School.
Despite falling in the game, the Eagles recognized Nick Maresca, Christoper Jackson, Trishanu Burchell. Adam Shaikh, Dominic Tardalo, Adam Zayid, Trey Francis, Brandon Gilmore, Ethan Senko, Sylan Shinn, Alex Baldwin, Xavier Velez, Michael Mendlevich, Jailen Taylor, Bishop Stewart, Andrew Mastalerz, Tristan Tana, James Ross, Oshri Gurr, Rocco Duygulu and Jamil McCellan.
The Cougars opened the scoring before Chase Pavlich tossed a touchdown pass to Senko to tie the game. Coconut Creek scored the next three touchdowns to take a 28-7 lead at halftime and scored twice in the second half.
MSD is 1-8 and had their lone win against Coral Springs High School in the Pig Bowl. They will play one final game against Spanish River Community High School on Wednesday, November 6, at 6 p.m. The Sharks are 5-4 this year,
