Marjory Stoneman Douglas graduate Jacob Gomberg is officially set to continue his college baseball career at the University of Nevada/ Las Vegas (UNLV).
Gomberg started his high school career at North Broward Prep and won one State championship, then transferred to MSD, where he went on to win two more titles, including a pair of National Championships.
The left-hander had a win in 10 appearances for MSD as a junior before missing his senior year with an injury. He still signed with the Florida Gators and made four appearances out of the bullpen, playing alongside Jake Clemente and Christian Rodriguez. Gomberg struck out two batters in his college debut against the University of Columbia. Gomebrg is set to join a team that went 31-23 a season ago and has been to 11 NCAA Tournaments.
