
Marjory Stoneman Douglas Girls Lacrosse. {MSD Lacrosse}

Marjory Stoneman Doulas lacrosse held Senior Night on Monday, with both teams picking up impressive wins over Boca Raton Community High School before another game on Tuesday.
The boys team picked up their second win with an 18-14 victory while honoring Darren Edenbaum, Ryan Spallina, Matthew Koesten, Preston Gerena, Henry Leon, Montgomery Kanter, Matthew Nason, Ethan Pakhomov, Jake Heymach, and Alex Gordon. Edenbaum and Gerena both scored five goals, and Edenbaum recorded four assists. Spallina also scored four before the team went on to play Cardinal Gibbons High School on Wednesday and won 18-17. Edenbaum scored ten, with Gerena and Spallina adding four to push the Eagles to 3-5 this year.

The girls team won their sixth following a 16-13 win over Cardinal Newman High School. The Eagles honored Gracyn Haynes, Taylor McGovern, Sofia Riley, Taylor Serbin, Maggie Davis, Lilly Shortz, Stephanie Bilsky, Addie Sacks and Bre Rhodes.
McGovern led the team with seven goals and four assists, while Kaitlyn Irwin scored five and had three assists. Chloe Resnick also contributed three goals, an assist, and a goal from Haynes.
MSD beat Cardinal Gibbons 21-2 to improve to 7-1. Next, the boys team will play Calvary Christian Academy on Wednesday, March 20 at 6 p.m., while the girls will face St. Thomas Aquinas High School on Saturday, March 16 at 11 a.m.
