The Marjory Stoneman Douglas football team is now 0-2 this season after losing on Friday against Deerfield Beach High School.
After falling in their first game, the Eagles had their second game postponed and played their second road game against the Bucks. MSD trailed 17-0 at halftime and allowed 19 more points in the second half to fall 36-0.
Next, MSD will have a week off before preparing for two games. The first game will be on Monday, September 16, against Cooper City High School at 6 p.m., and the second game will be against Boyd H. Anderson High School on Thursday, September 19, at 7 p.m. Cooper City has a record of 1-1 this year, while Boyd H. Anderson is 0-2.
The junior varsity team played against Monarch High School this week and fell 36-14. They will play Cypress Bay High School on Wednesday, September 11, at 5:30 p.m.
