Maria Hamilton has a passion for jewelry and providing good service to families.
She recently purchased Parkland Jewelers’ inventory and opened MH Jewelers in February at 7963 North University Drive in Parkland Commons. Hamilton previously operated a jewelry business in Boca Raton.
“I live in Parkland and have been in the jewelry business for 15 years, and my goal is to serve families in the community,” she told Parkland Talk. “I believe this city offers a good opportunity for a small business.”
Visitors to MH Jewelers will see a pleasant environment where they can select various jewelry items. Hamilton offers 18K and 14K gold diamonds, engagement and wedding rings, diamond necklaces, tennis necklaces, cocktail rings, and other jewelry items. She also designs custom jewelry for customers and buys and sells diamonds and gold.
Hamilton’s essential goal is to create a comfortable, family-friendly environment to buy jewelry. She offers a wish list where a person can list a desired jewelry item, and that individual’s significant other can buy it. Hamilton is planning a grand opening on Saturday, April 26, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
MH Jewelers is open from Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
