Hunter Fitz-Gerald. {Jillian Jarboe}
Former Marjory Stoneman Douglas graduate Hunter Fitz-Gerald was named Player of the Week for the Arkansas Travs.
A 2019 graduate, Fitz-Gerald hit .438 with a home run, double, and four RBIS in Double A. He now has eight home runs this year and has driven in 47 runs while homering 15 times and driving in 92 runs in his professional career.
Fitz-Gerald shined while with MSD, hitting 11 home runs and driving in 55 runs. After being drafted out of high school, he went on to play in college at Florida SouthWestern, where Fitz-Gerald hit 10 home runs and drove in 48 runs. He then played at Old Dominion University, finishing tied for 23rd in the country with 22 home runs. Fitz-Gerald was also tied for 33rd with 70 RBIs in only 55 games and made the All-Conference Team after his team won 32 games.
