
Former Marjory Stoneman Douglas slugger Hunter Fitz-Gerald. {MSD Athletics}

Former Marjory Stoneman Douglas slugger Hunter Fitz-Gerald has officially signed to play college baseball at Old Dominion University in Virginia.
The son of MSD head coach Todd Fitz-Gerald played two seasons at Florida Southwestern University before signing to play with one of the top college baseball programs in the country.
A 2019 graduate from MSD, Hunter hit 11 home runs and drove in 45 runs with the Eagles over a pair of seasons. This past year, he led FSW with ten homers while hitting .359 and was named to the Florida College System Activities Association All-State Team.
Hunter is set to play for a team that has won 85 games in the past two seasons, including two games in the NCAA tournament.
