
Michael Ossenfort. {954 Preps}
Marjory Stoneman Douglas graduate Michael Ossenfort continues to make an impact at the collegiate level, recently earning Second Team All-American honors following an outstanding freshman season at Carthage College.
Ossenfort started all 35 games for the Firebirds and finished with a .433 batting average, while driving in 46 runs and scoring 46 times. He also drew 22 walks and showcased his defensive ability with a .968 fielding percentage.
The 2025 graduate collected several major postseason awards, including College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Student-Athlete of the Year and D3baseball.com Region 8 Rookie of the Year. He previously earned NCAA Division III Region VIII First Team All-Region and D3baseball.com All-Region 8 First Team recognition.
During his career at MSD, Ossenfort helped the Eagles capture two state championships and one National Title, and he enjoyed a strong senior season, batting .365 with two home runs and 17 RBIs. Baseball success runs in the family. His older brother, Matthew Ossenfort, helped the Eagles win a State and National Championship in 2023 and recently completed his junior season at the University of Michigan, where he hit his first home run and had a two-hit game during the Big 10 Tournament.
