MSD Wrestling Team Wins Another Championship; Cheerleading Team Competes at BCAA

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas wrestling team continued their terrific season while the cheerleading team competed at the BCAA Championships.

The wrestling team began by winning the District Duals this week, then went 5-0 and took first in the Myerson Trichon Duals at Deerfield Beach High School. They capped the week off by placing third in the Coral Spring Duals, going 9-2. MSD finished the week 15-2, with their only losses against Olympic Heights and Fort Pierce Central High School. The Eagles will compete in the Regional Duals on Wednesday, January 16, before hosting Senior Night on January 21.

The cheerleading team competed in the BCAA Championship on Saturday. Although they did not place in the top two, the Eagles will cheer again in Regionals on January 25 at Coral Glades High School. Last year, MSD placed second in the Regional and State Championships.
