Somerset Parkland Academy invites the community to embark on a journey with its student production of DreamWorks Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR.
The performances take place at Coral Springs Center for the Arts on February 7 and 8, 2025.
The show starts with exclusive field trip performances for schools on February 7, followed by a public performance on February 8.
Directed by Andrew Ramsarran, Executive Director of Invision Theatre, and Nicole Dikun, Musical Director, this production is part of the school’s commitment to fostering creativity and the arts in education.
Audiences will follow Marty the zebra, Alex the lion, Gloria the hippo, and Melman the giraffe as they leave the safety of the Central Park Zoo and embark on a transatlantic adventure.
Packed with humor, heart, and original music by George Noriega and Joel Someillan, the story celebrates friendship, exploration, and self-discovery.
“Our mission is simple: to bring the arts back to all schools and create opportunities for every student to shine,” said Ramsarran.
