The City of Parkland will celebrate its 62nd anniversary with the Parkland Day 2025 Parade on Saturday, March 8, at 10:00 a.m.
This year’s event will feature a “Pirates of Parkland” theme, and city officials encourage attendees and parade participants to decorate floats and dress the part in themed attire.
The parade will begin at the corner of Pine Island and Nob Hill Road, proceed south on Pine Island, then turn east on Trails End before concluding at the entrance of Pine Trails Park.
Staging for participants will begin at 8:00 a.m., two hours before the parade starts.
As each float passes the reviewing stand, an announcement about the group, organization, or business will be made. Participants are encouraged to describe their entry briefly for this purpose.
All entries must present a positive image and remain nonpolitical to ensure a safe and enjoyable parade, as campaign materials and political organizations are prohibited.
Entries will be judged, and winners will be announced during the main event at Pine Trails Park around 7:00 p.m.
Applications for participation must be submitted by February 4. The entry fee is $25 per group and $10 for non-profit organizations.
