A mother reported that her daughter’s “Burn Book,” a diary containing negative remarks about other students, was taken by friends during a pool gathering. The book was later returned, but some entries were posted on social media, leading to threats of legal action. The mother requested documentation for potential litigation.

A woman reported that the mother of a patient became verbally aggressive and threw a cup of coffee at her. The coffee did not make contact, and the suspect left before law enforcement arrived.

A 15-year-old male admitted to possessing a vape container with THC oil after a witness observed him smoking by a pool. He was processed and released to his father.

Multiple residents reported seeing unknown individuals dressed in black and wearing face coverings walking through backyards. No criminal activity was reported at this time.

A resident reported that an unknown individual was seen on surveillance entering his vehicle and driving away.

February 9, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
A woman reported that her autistic daughter’s Facebook account was hacked. The suspect then contacted the victim through Instagram and obtained a photo of her driver’s license and Chase credit card. The mother canceled the card, and no fraudulent transactions had occurred at the time of the report.

A 17-year-old male experiencing a mental health crisis voluntarily approached law enforcement. He was transported to Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health under the Baker Act.

February 8, 2025, at 10:19 p.m.
A homeless man was observed walking in and out of traffic while yelling at people. When deputies arrived, he appeared incoherent and unaware of his surroundings. He was transported for evaluation under the Baker Act.
