Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through June 5, 2023.
Burglary Conveyance
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on University Drive was reported on: 06/04/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,450. The victim reported his iPhone 14, valued at $1400., stolen from his unlocked Mercedes SUV, parked at Parkland Commons Plaza on University Drive.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance was reported on: 05/30/2023. The total estimated loss was: $150. The victims reported their 2021 Cadillac Escalade was burglarized. Unknown suspect(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed the key fob to the victims’ 2022 BMW X3 M-Competition parked directly next to the Cadillac. The unknown suspect(s) then removed the BMW X3 M-Competition from the driveway and fled the area.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on NW 72nd Place was reported on: 05/30/2023. The total estimated loss was: $150. An unknown male subject entered a parked, unlocked Mercedes SUV.
Burglary Residence
A victim of Burglary at a Residence on Lemongrass Drive was reported on: 06/02/2023. A 2023 Ferrari F9, A 2022 Mercedes Maybach, A 2022 California Lamborghini Urus, and two other high-priced vehicles were stolen from the residence. The interior of the home was ransacked in many rooms as well.
Fraud – Wire
A victim of Fraud – Wire on NW 81 Manor was reported on: 05/30/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,234. The victim reported she opened a file from an unknown person via email. Once she opened the file, her computer went down, and she has since had $1,234. stolen from her through a Roblox account (digital currency). The victim provided several emails, snapshots, and her computer as evidence to the police.
Information
Information was reported on: 5/31/23 on NW 70 Avenue. The complainants advised that a male in a skirt was fondling himself in front of children on their way to school. Upon further investigation by police, it was learned the skirt is an Indian cultural item the visitor wears on his walks through the community, and the man’s actions ensuring the dress stays affixed was mistaken for fondling.
Auto Theft
A victim of Auto Theft on Waterview Way was reported on: 06/01/2023. A 2021 BMW X3 was stolen. The fob was in the car, along with the victim’s wallet. An Amex charge was made at a 7-11 gas station in Coral Springs on Wiles Road.
A victim of Auto Theft on NW 77 Terrace was reported on: 05/31/2023. The total estimated loss was: $800. An Unknown subject(s) stole the victim’s 2022 Black Bentley Continental 2 door from his driveway. The victim advised the vehicle was left unlocked with the key fob inside.

No arrests were reported.
