Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through July 22, 2024.
Animal Bite
A victim of Animal Bite was reported on 07/16/2024. The victim was walking in their development when a black Akita ran into the roadway and bit the victim in the right leg, causing several puncture marks to the skin. The victim was transported to Coral Springs Medical Center by Coral Springs/Parkland Rescue 97.
Animal Bite on NW 128 Lane was reported on 07/21/2024. Two leashed dogs were being walked in the same vicinity when one of them lunged and attacked the other. The bitten dog was taken to a veterinarian for puncture wounds requiring surgery.
Burglary
A victim of Burglary Residence was reported on 07/20/2024. The total estimated loss was $22,150. The victims advised an unknown subject(s) ransacked their home and stole multiple items.
A victim of Burglary Residence was reported on 07/16/2024. 3 unknown males attempted to break the victim’s windows.
Property Damage
Meadow Run Association was the victim of Property Damage at 6200 NW 101 Avenue, which was reported on 07/18/2024. A white Tesla knocked the entrance gate off its housing.
Criminal Mischief
A victim of Criminal Mischief was reported on 07/19/2024. The victim advised that an unknown subject damaged his front door in the middle of the night.
Arrests
Anderson, Isiaih, 24, was arrested on a charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle W/O Valid License at 7500 Holmberg Road on 07/17/2024.
