Baker Act
June 10 – A man was taken to Boca West Medical Center after experiencing hallucinations, possibly due to narcotics use.
June 11 – A 40-year-old woman was Baker Acted after telling her father she intended to overdose on prescription medication and hadn’t eaten in three days. She was admitted to West Boca Medical Center.
Information Reports
June 10 – Deputies responded to a report of a red pickup truck possibly trying to run over ducks intentionally. One duck was found dead; the driver claimed it was an accident.
June 10 – A man reported possible harassment by his ex-wife’s boyfriend via unknown phone calls and texts following a custody hearing. No crime was substantiated.
Property Damage
June 10 – A gate arm came down on a work van exiting a community, causing minor damage to both the gate and the van.
June 10 – Parkland Bay HOA reported damage to their exit gate. Surveillance video and photos were collected.
Domestic Incidents
June 13 – A man reported a verbal argument with his wife after she exited their vehicle and walked home. No physical violence occurred.
June 13 – A woman called police after her boyfriend, whom she had told not to visit, showed up at her house. She requested that he be trespassed.
June 14 – A woman reported that her juvenile daughter pushed and threatened her during a domestic incident. The juvenile was arrested and transported to JAC.
Burglary
June 13 – A man reported a residential burglary where two unknown suspects pried open a sliding door and stole over $54,000 in jewelry, including multiple diamond items. Surveillance video captured the incident.
Arrest
June 10 – A suspect, 22, was arrested for possession of marijuana over 20 grams.
