Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through December 25, 2023.
Burglary
A victim of Burglary Building/Structure on 12/19/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,500. The blower motor and coils were stolen from the AC unit inside the residence.
Ryan Homes was a victim of Burglary Residence on 12/23/2023. The total estimated loss was $500. A lighting package was left unsecured in a home that was being built and was removed from the job site.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on 12/22/2023. The total estimated loss was $165. Three unlocked vehicles were entered. A debit card and miscellaneous items were removed from the vehicles.
Theft
A victim of Theft – All Other 12/20/2023. The total estimated loss was $20. The victim advised two males approached the front driveway of her residence on bicycles. She stated that one of them stole her Amazon package and ran away southbound.
Fraud
Bmat Properties was a victim of Fraud – All Other 12/20/2023. The total estimated loss was $14,200. The reporting person advised that someone deposited two fraudulent checks from his business account.
Arrests
No arrests were reported.
