Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School’s DECA chapter earned top honors at the Florida DECA Career Development Conference in Orlando, with 43 students qualifying for international competition.
The statewide event, one of the largest student business competitions in Florida, brought together thousands of students to compete in marketing, finance, hospitality, entrepreneurship, and business management. Participants were challenged through role-plays, presentations, and written projects designed to test real-world business skills.
Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas showcased strong performances across multiple categories after months of preparation and practice. Their results secured 43 qualifying spots for the DECA International Career Development Conference.
The international competition will take place April 24–29 in Atlanta, where students will compete against top qualifiers from around the world.
