October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and organizations around Parkland are doing their part to show support.
Moms Play Mah Jongg is hosting a Pink Challah Bake and Mah Jongg night to benefit Sharsheret – the Jewish breast and ovarian cancer community. On Thursday, October 14, at 7:00 p.m., bakers will participate in a Zoom class on challah-making with the challah guru herself, Mandylicious. Then, attendees can play some Mah Jongg while their bread bakes.
The event takes place at Family Bagels of Long Island, located at 5906 Coral Ridge Drive.
Players will enjoy dessert, coffee, raffles, and more. It’s an opportunity to socialize and play the game with friends, food, and fun while helping a great cause.
Registration is $36 and includes a donation to Sharsheret, making your own pink challah, dessert, and coffee.
Space is limited, so register in advance or visit facebook.com/momsplaymahjongg for more information.
