The popular Parkland restaurant Déjà Blue has permanently closed its doors.
The Mediterranean-inspired eatery at 7805 N. University Dr. shut down on Sunday after “eight wonderful years of serving the Parkland community.”
“Our journey has come to an end,” read a message posted on the restaurant’s website. “Thank you for all the memories and support over the years.”
With its elegant decor and dishes inspired by food from the Middle East, Europe, and other parts of the world, Déjà Blue attracted a loyal following in Parkland. The “Blue” in the restaurant’s name was an homage to the Mediterranean Ocean.
It was unclear whether or when another business would move into the eatery’s closed space on Monday.
