Broward County parents and guardians, mark your calendars.
Take a Child to Work Day is set for Thursday, April 24, 2025, offering children a valuable opportunity to explore the professional world alongside their mentors.
This year’s event is part of the nationwide Take a Child to Work Day and Beyond initiative, spearheaded by Junior Achievement in collaboration with Broward County Public Schools. The program aims to inspire young minds, encouraging them to take bold steps toward their future aspirations while fostering confidence and resilience.
According to BCPS, the event provides children with a hands-on learning experience, allowing them to observe firsthand what a parent or mentor does during a typical workday. It highlights the importance of education in achieving career success while helping participants discover the power and opportunities available within various fields. It also gives students the chance to envision their own futures, share their aspirations, and take proactive steps toward their goals in an interactive and engaging environment.
