The Westglades girls’ golf team took first place for the third straight season in the Middle School Athletic Association Championship at the Country Club of Coral Springs on Wednesday.
The Wolves also had the top three scores individually, with Sutton Oosterhuis taking first after shooting a 40, while Elisa Hernandez-Gil came in second with a 42.
Ella Thompson finished third with a 44 and competed alongside Huiyuan “Annie” Yang and Sophia Cordova for Westglades.
The Wolves finished with a team score of 175, 32 shots better than Pembroke Pines Charter, who came in second. Nova and Ramblewood Middle School also competed in the tournament.
