It has been an excellent season for the Westglades Middle School boys golf team.
On Monday, the Wolves participated in the Middle School Athletic Association Golf Champions at the Country Club of Coral Springs. Westglades finished the tournament in fifth place, one stroke ahead of Beachside Montessori Village with a team total of 215.
Leading the way for the Wolves were Chase Gorham and Brody Kefford. They each shot a 43 while Samkit Bothra recorded a 44. Max Dalva, one of two sixth graders on the team, continues to improve as the season goes on. He most recently shot a 52 in his first MSAA Championship against eight teams.
Turner Oosterhuis also competed, helping the Wolves to a strong performance under Head Coach Alan Flin.
