It may not be snowing, but Winter Wonderland magic is coming back to Parkland.
Hosted by the Law Offices of Zimmerman and Frachtman, the 10th Annual Light Up The Night Party includes an impressive display of lights, activities for the whole family, great raffles, and, for the first time, a VIP Tent by Funky Buddha Brewery, featuring a variety of beer and hard seltzer, a sampling of Channé Rosé, hors d’oeuvres provided by Bravo Peruvian Kitchen, games, and an exclusive gift for each guest.
Held on Thursday, December 1, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Light Up the Night is free and open to everyone.
Attendees will enjoy food trucks, shopping at the Holiday Village with over 50 vendors, live entertainment by the Private Stock Band, and a grand lighting ceremony to kick off the holiday season.
The event raises funds for the local charity Parkland Cares, with proceeds from ticket, food, and vendor sales will go towards their mission to support mental health, trauma care, and counseling in the South Florida community.
Guests can also support the charity by joining the 50/50 Raffle, where the winner will receive 50% of the total prize pool.
“We wanted to create something fun where families come together and enjoy themselves,” said Robert Zimmerman, founder of the firm.
The idea for Light Up the Night was born over a decade ago when Zimmerman began lighting up his office building each year during the holidays.
As people noticed, he was inspired to hold an event to show appreciation for the firm’s clients. In the years that followed, this snowballed into what it is today: a significant, free, festive event dedicated to giving back and bringing the community together.
“The event has grown from an event for a hundred people, our families, and friends, to the night becoming a local tradition and having thousands of people looking forward to this as the official start of the holiday season,” said Joshua Frachtman, partner of the firm.
He added that while the event had become a Parkland tradition, families crossed the county lines to visit: “We have people coming in from Wellington to Miramar every year.”
Frachtman, a Marjory Stoneman Douglas graduate and Parkland resident, said that the tenth annual holiday party is an incredibly important milestone on a personal level.
“This is my tenth year with the firm, and I have gone from new associate to junior partner to name partner. It has been a great journey,” he said.
Frachtman added that the holiday display of thousands of lights promises to be even more unique and breathtaking this year than any prior celebrations.
“This is a great night for people to come out, spend time with friends and loved ones, dance to some good music, enjoy great food, and do something good by raising money for the local charities,” he said. “We hope the residents will bring the holiday cheer, wear their most festive clothes, and come out to celebrate with us.”
Law Offices of Zimmerman and Frachtman is a law firm based out of Parkland that focuses on personal injury cases. The firm specializes in representing victims of various types of accidents and malpractice cases.

“I’m excited that we’ll share a wide range of fun activities this year so everyone can participate in our annual celebration,” said Zimmerman.
This outdoor event is held at the Zimmerman & Frachtman building at 6991 N State Road 7.
