Detectives need your help in identifying two men who burglarized five cars in the Parkland neighborhood of Heron Bay.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s’ Office, on Feb. 24, all five cars were left unlocked. The thieves stole a handgun from one of the vehicles.
Just before 4 a.m., the cameras captured two young males on bicycle going from car to car looking for valuables to steal. The thieves took their time rummaging through the cars and appear to wipe away their fingerprints. Both the thieves rode bikes and wore hoodie style sweatshirts.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Roger Jean at 954-753-5050. Reports can also be made anonymously to Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or online at browardcrimestoppers.org. Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
