The Marjory Stoneman Douglas softball team picked up their second win of the season Monday night following their win over Coral Springs High School 15-0.
Both Jessie Magee and Julie Vanarsdale recorded three outs with the game being called after the top of the third. They did not allow a base runner and combined for five strikeouts.
Offensively, Magee led the team with two RBI’s. Olivia Alvarez, Vanarsdale, Evelyn Patton, and Emily Hunter drove in runs as well. Victoria Diaz also had a hit and scored two runs in the victory.
Up next, MSD will travel to Cooper City High School on Wednesday, March 10, with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
