The Humane Society of Broward County introduces two pets eager for adoption: Max, a spirited dog with a polka dot coat, and Picasso, a small, black and white cat with striking emerald-green eyes.
Max, a one-year-old canine, is turning heads with his unique appearance and boundless energy. Believed to be part pointer, this lively dog is the perfect companion for outdoor adventures and hikes.
His friendly demeanor makes him a great fit for various environments. Max’s favorite activities include playful zoomies, engaging with toys, and eagerly learning new commands for treats.
Notably, he is crate-trained and still exhibits all the joyful curiosity of a puppy. Max would thrive in a home with another dog that matches his high energy levels.
On the feline side of the shelter, Picasso is a one-year-old cat whose past is shrouded in mystery.
Transferred from another facility, he weighs a mere 8 ½ pounds and captivates everyone with his artistic black and white fur and mesmerizing green eyes.
A lover of affection, Picasso enjoys receiving pets and cozying up in his bed. His gentle and loving nature makes him a perfect pet for someone who appreciates the quieter, more artistic side of life.
Those interested in adopting Max (ID 665087), Picasso (ID 679959), or any other pet are encouraged to visit the Humane Society of Broward County’s website at www.humanebroward.com to complete a pre-adoption application.
The shelter, located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312, welcomes visitors daily from 11 a.m. onwards. For additional information or inquiries, the adoption department can be reached at 954-989-3977 ext. 6.
