This report contained information about cats being shot with pellet guns. BSO has advised us that this was a mistake and inadvertently put it on the Parkland crime blotter. Instead, this incident happened in Tamarac. We have deleted this information.

Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through December 18, 2023.
Information
Information on 12/14/2023. The complainant advised that she hired a company to cater an event. She has hired the company in the past and was satisfied with the service. She was notified by her family that the company had poor reviews on Yelp and Google and that the company has “scammed” people in the past and not shown up and kept the deposits. The complainant texted the company to cancel and has not received their deposit back yet.
Theft
A victim of Auto Theft on NW 122 Drive on 12/12/2023. The victim’s 2020 Mercedes Benz SUV was stolen from his driveway.
Criminal Mischief
A victim of Criminal Mischief on NW 72nd Street on 12/13/2023. Black paint was intentionally applied to the security wall surrounding the residence, possibly with a paintbrush. The security wall was also hit with eggs.
A victim of Criminal Mischief on S Miralago Way on 12/17/2023. The registered owner of the vehicle had his back windshield damaged by a rock overnight.
Arrests
Lockett, Robbie, Lee, 23, was arrested on a charge of Commit 3rd Degree Felony With Weapon on N State Road 7 on 12/18/2023.
