Heron Heights Elementary in Parkland. {BCPS}
Heron Heights Elementary School welcomes incoming students and their families for the 2025–2026 school year at an upcoming open house event.
The “Rounding Up Future Leaders” open house event is on Thursday, January 16, at 6:00 p.m. The event welcomes incoming students and their families to tour the school’s campus, meet staff members, and learn more about the programs and resources that made Heron Heights an A-rated school in 2024.
During the event, attendees will be introduced to the school’s Academically Challenging Curriculum to Enhance Learning (ACCEL) program and its Gifted and Multiyear Classes.
Families can also use the event to take an opportunity to learn about the one-to-one digital classroom initiative, which provides individual devices for students in kindergarten through fifth grade, as well as the school’s extracurricular clubs and activities.
