Anthony Rizzo and his family are aiming to provide the best quarantine virtual experience yet.
As part of Rizzo’s Chef Series, the Chicago Cubs first baseman, who started his baseball career at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, has joined with another famous Chicago champion.
Giuseppe Tentori, award-winning chef and owner of GT Fish & Oyster, GT Prime Steakhouse, and Boka Catering Group in Chicago, is preparing some of his Italian favorites in a virtual cooking class.
On May 29, at 7 p.m., attendees can put on their aprons for a good cause and test their culinary skills along with Anthony Rizzo while supporting the fight against Pediatric Cancer.
For a $150 donation, a household will receive a grocery list and a zoom link to cook along with Rizzo.
Those who want to knock it out of the park can donate $300 for a meal kit, a bottle of wine, an autographed Anthony Rizzo photo along with their code to join the zoom cooking class.
All proceeds will benefit the Hope 44 Grants program to help families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis.
