The City of Parkland is now accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship program, offering financial support to local high school seniors preparing for college.
The application period closes March 5, 2026, at 4 p.m., and students must meet eligibility criteria to be considered for awards ranging from $1,000 to $2,500.
The scholarships are funded by the City of Parkland and community partners, including Silver Miller Law, Kennedy Legal Team, the Mesa-Taylor Family, Eaton Family, Steinberg Family, The Bin Doctor, and the Parkland Chamber of Commerce.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a resident of Parkland;
- Be a high school senior graduating in 2026;
- Have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.5;
- Complete a minimum of 50 volunteer service hours; and
- Demonstrate leadership, innovation, collaboration, or have initiated a community service project.
