Aston Gardens at Parkland Commons is holding its Grand Reveal of its newly remodeled Assisted Living and SHINE Memory Care facilities, which include 71 apartments and 14 private suites in memory care.
“Our Grand Reveal is not just about showcasing the beautiful new designs; it’s about celebrating the vibrant and enriching lives our residents lead,” said Paul Markowitz, Executive Director of Aston Gardens At Parkland Commons, in a statement. “This is a time in their lives to thrive, and we are committed to creating an environment that fosters personal growth, social engagement, and physical well-being.”
The SHINE Memory Care program has earned national recognition and provides personalized, evidence-based care for residents with Alzheimer’s and other memory-related conditions.
According to Rita Armstrong, senior lifestyle counselor, the building’s common areas have been renovated to renew their design with a modern aesthetic.
“We have new furniture, lights, drapery and artwork. We renovated the activities room, entrance, dining room, and living room and added a movie theater and a bar,” she said.
The ribbon cutting was held Thursday with community leaders and industry professionals. Renovations will be unveiled on Friday, September 20, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; family members are invited.
The events feature live music, chef-prepared hors d’oeuvres, gourmet carving, and pasta stations, a selection of desserts, and a complimentary open bar. Attendees can also tour the newly renovated spaces, including the redesigned Sensations Dining Room.
The public is invited to see the Inn at Aston Gardens on Saturday, September 21, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Aston Gardens is located at 5999 University Drive in Parkland.
