Friday Night’s Visionary Experience
Kicking off at 7:30 p.m. with special Shabbat Services led by Maseng, attendees will be transported to the mystical era of the 18th century Tsfat (Safed) as he weaves his glorious liturgical music into the Kabbalat Shabbat service. This promises to be an evocative journey back in time, inviting participants to explore the depths of their faith and spirituality through Maseng’s inspired renditions.
Saturday Morning’s Intellectual Feast
On Saturday, February 24, at 8:45 a.m., the congregation is invited to “Bagels and Bible,” where Maseng will present. This session offers a rare opportunity to delve into biblical texts with the guidance of his insightful interpretations, accompanied by the comfort of bagels in a warm, communal setting.
A Musical Night to Remember
The weekend’s highlight will be the musical performance on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Maseng will showcase his exceptional talent as an Israeli actor, singer, and composer of Contemporary Jewish Liturgical Music. This performance is set to be a profound experience, aiming to foster peace, beauty, love, joy, and understanding through a spiritually uplifting tapestry of Jewish music and learning.
