The Florida Department of Health has released information about cities and counties of residence that have been tested positive for COVID-19 and Parkland has now seen an increase from 23 to 24 cases since April 23.

On April 23, there were 28,843 cases in the State of Florida, and today there are 29,707 for an increase of 864 cases. There have been 1,046 reported deaths in the State. Data in this report are provisional and subject to change.

The city is not always received as part of the initial notification and may be missing while the case is being investigated. These figures are from April 24, 2020, at 6 p.m. and these are total cases. Unfortunately, the State does not provide recovery data.
