The holiday spirit lit up Somerset Parkland Academy this December as the school celebrated its 5th Annual Winter Somerland event.
A tradition for the school community, the event brought students, families, and local businesses together for an evening of entertainment, holiday cheer, and fundraising to support student programs.
Organized by the administration with the help of the parent volunteer group, the VIPP, the campus was transformed into a winter wonderland with twinkling lights and festive decorations. Families enjoyed treats from food trucks and browsed local vendors’ booths.
One of the evening’s highlights was a series of holiday performances by Somerset Parkland Academy students directed by their music teacher. The students performed a mix of holiday classics and upbeat songs.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the school’s efforts to enhance its educational programs and facilities.
