Marjory Stoneman Douglas football played in their season opener on Friday night, falling to Cypress Bay High School 48-22.
This was the first game under Head Coach Chris Baldwin, who took over earlier this year.
Jaxon Anger tossed a touchdown pass to Ethan Senko, while Jamil McClellan had a pick-six, and Jonah Lennamon had a short touchdown run.
MSD will play at home for the first time in their next game on Thursday, August 29, at 7 p.m. They will be playing Cooper City High School, who beat Coral Glades 16-7 in their first game.
