The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School winter guard captured a silver medal at the South Florida Winter Guard Association Circuit Championships on April 4, delivering a high-energy performance that earned a score of 88.8.
Their strong showing secured a second-place finish and marked a standout moment in the team’s season.
Competing at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, director Dean Broadbent was proud of the team.
“Their commitment to excellence and love of the activity left no doubt in my mind that we would be successful. Next stop, the Winter Guard International world championships in Dayton, Ohio,” said Broadbent.
The WGI Color Guard World Championships take place April 8–12.
