Property Damage
Between September 26 at 6 p.m. and September 27 at 6 p.m., a Waste Management trash can was run over by an unknown vehicle in Parkland. Reported September 30.
Information Reports
September 30, 11000 Holmberg Road: A child accidentally ingested an Excedrin pill that had been mixed into a Tic Tac container. The child reported feeling fine, and the pill tested negative.
September 30: A female caller reported a male forced her to sign up for a new phone and threatened not to take her home if she refused.
October 1: A woman visited the D17 front office to report her ex-boyfriend was trying to remove her from their home. She sought information about eviction proceedings. No physical altercation occurred.
October 3: Deputies responded to a suicide hotline call about a possible overdose. Investigation revealed the subject was not suicidal and had not contacted the hotline.
Domestic Disturbance
October 1: A woman reported concerning text messages from her husband. Deputies determined no crime occurred. She plans to continue divorce proceedings.
Batteries
October 2, Olivia’s Bar & Kitchen: An adult male struck another male. No injuries reported. The subject was issued a notice to appear.
October 1–3: A 17-year-old struck his father with a mop stick in Parkland. The teen was arrested and transported to JAC for processing.
Found Property
October 2: A gray Ninebot scooter was found at Pine Trails Park and turned in to BSO.
Death Investigation
October 5: Deputies responded to a Parkland residence, where an adult male was found deceased in a hallway near the master bedroom. The death was ruled natural by the Medical Examiner.
