This is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through June 17, 2024, compiled through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents.
Theft
A victim of Theft—All Other was reported on 06/12/2024. The total estimated loss was $3,180. The victim advised that an unknown suspect took a FedEx package from his front porch and left the area in a Neon SUV.
Ryan Homes was a victim of Theft From Building was reported on 06/17/2024. The total estimated loss was $927. The unknown suspect removed a stove from the listed address, which is under construction and unlocked.
Suspicious Incident
A victim of a Suspicious Incident was reported on 06/13/2024. The homeowner advised that a FedEx package was delivered to her front door. An unknown male approached on foot, took the package, and then fled the area in a white Chevy Traverse.
Property Damage
Meadow Run Association was a victim of Property Damage at 6200 NW 101 Avenue was reported on 06/15/2024. The reporting person stated the vehicle hit the gate arm to the west gate of the Meadow Run community. The driver advised the gate did not read his scanner and went down as he was going through.
