Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through March 6, 2023.
Information
Information on NW 72 Way was reported on 03/01/2023. Three Amazon packages were located at 5840 NW 72nd Way – an empty lot. The packages were returned to their owners at different residences—one in Parkland and two in Coral Springs.
Information on NW 98 Drive was reported on 03/02/2023—ongoing phone harassment about money lost in a Ponzi scheme.
Information on NW 104 Terrace was reported on 03/02/2023. Subjects were victims of a swatting incident at their residence.
Animal Bite
A victim of an Animal Bite on NW 80 Terrace was reported on 03/04/2023. The complainant alleges that while delivering pizza, a dog came out of the home and bit him on the lower back.
Arrests
Phillips, Anthony Barrington, 18, was arrested on a Stolen Property -Deal In charge at W Hillsboro Blvd on 02/28/2023.
Lopez, Raoul, 44, was arrested on a charge of Warrant/ Possession Of Firearm By a Convicted Felon at NW 79 Way on 03/03/2023.
