Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Parkland through November 18. Names of those not arrested have been redacted.
AOA (Assist outside of agency)
9400 block of Aston Gardens Court
On November 16, an 88-year-old patient fell in her bedroom closet and struck her head. She had a large laceration to the top of her head. Coral Springs Fire Rescue was on scene and actively working CPR on the victim. She was transported to Coral Springs Medical Center.

9400 block of Aston Gardens Court – Aston Gardens
On November 13, the elderly reporting person advised that her two juvenile grandchildren were missing after visiting with her. The reportee resides in the assisted living center, and the staff advised she has dementia. The reportee’s daughter was contacted by phone, confirmed her dementia, and advised she has no juvenile grandchildren as reported.
10555 Trails End – Pine Trails Park
On November 13, the reporting person advised her six-year-old daughter had a seizure while at Pine Trails Park. Coral Springs Fire Rescue 97 responded, stabilized the child, and transported the juvenile to Coral Springs Medical Center for evaluation.
8000 block of Parkside Drive
On November 16, a noise issue was reported over construction work being done before 9:30 a.m. on a Saturday, per Parkland Code.
Property Damage
9100 block of Parkland Bay Drive
On November 14, a front-end loader accidentally collided into an occupied/parked motor vehicle. The property damage occurred off the road in what will become the front lawn of the residence (a construction site). The motor vehicle sustained significant damage to the right rear quarter panel. The front-end loader was not damaged. No one was injured as a result of the property damage, and no other property was damaged.

9900 block of Bayleaf Court Parkland Golf & Country Club
On November 14, a female advised that her seven diamond necklace, valued at $32,500, was taken from her home, possibly in early October. She believed that her cleaning lady’s adult son took the item while helping his mother clean the house.
7621 North State Road 7 – CVS
On November 15, a female suspect entered the CVS store and selected several hair shavers and hair dryers from the aisle and placed them in a shopping cart. The suspect then exited the store without paying or attempting to pay for items. The suspect fled in an older Honda vehicle. Nine items were stolen with a value of $554.27.
Suspicious Incident
6800 block of NW 110 Way – Parkland Isles
On November 15, deputies responded to the residence about a burglary in progress. An area check was conducted, and the burglary was unfounded.
Schools
7400 Parkside Drive – Riverglades Elementary School
On November 12, a report was received by the Broward Sheriff`s Threat Assessment Unit from Fortify Florida Portal. A student reported that she was being bullied in class.
11000 Holmberg Road – Westglades Middle School
On November 12, deputies responded to the 11200 block of Heron Bay Boulevard about a delayed report of social media threats by an unknown eighth-grade female student.

On November 15, deputies took a delayed report from a parent on an incident that occurred at a bus stop on 10/31 and 11/1, where a parent of another student had tried following their child home. This was following a verbal altercation between the reporting person’s child and another child on the school bus that was already handled by school administrators.
