Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Parkland through November 25. Names of those not arrested have been redacted.
Information
7600 block of NW 61 Ave
On November 19, deputies responded to the listed address about a sick person call. The victim was found unconscious and not breathing. CPR commenced, and Coral Springs Parkland Fire Department arrived and assumed medical procedures.
7500 block of NW 70 Ave – Parkside Estates
On November 20, deputies responded to a gate arm coming down on a school bus. No injuries were reported, and no damage was done to bus or the gate arm.
12500 Block NW 76 Street
On November 20, deputies responded about a male suspect, who was alleged to be an aggressive driver in a recent Broward Crime Stoppers tip. Contact was made with the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student after he was observed committing traffic infractions.
6300 block of Holmberg Road
On November 20, a contractor advised that sometime overnight, debris was dumped on a property under construction.
6200 block of NW 101 Ave – Meadow Run
On November 20, the gate came down on a resident’s vehicle while entering. There was no damage to the vehicle.
9300 block of Meridian Drive – Watercrest
On November 21, a resident, who advised she was landscaping at her residence, said as she was moving a boulder from the ground with a shovel when she heard a loud hissing sound and started to smell a strong odor of gas. Coral Springs Parkland Fire responded and advised that they needed to contact Teco to respond and turn off the gas.
10555 Trails End – Pine Trails Park
On November 23, deputies responded to Pine Trails Park about a juvenile male who broke his left wrist playing soccer. Fire rescue transported the juvenile to Coral Springs Medical Center for medical treatment.
5901 Pine Island Road
On November 22, a female student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School advised strange vehicles follow her when she walks home to Coral Springs from the school.
Suspicious Incident
10900 block of Estuary Drive – Cascata
On November 21, a female resident advised that a male wearing a royal blue long sleeve shirt and blue jeans walked up to her front door. She stated that he looked into her house through the glass door and then looked under the front mat before leaving in an unknown direction. A photograph was uploaded to the report.
11000 Holmberg Road – Westglades Middle School
On November 19, deputies took a report of an incident, which resulted in the school administrators recommending discipline of the students under the Broward school board`s “PROMISE” program matrix. Students were released home to their parents by administrators.

On November 21, a male student was reportedly struck in the head accidentally by a hallway door during a class change.
10700 Trails End – Park Trails Elementary School
On November 21, fire rescue responded for a 10-year-old student who fell and hit his head on the field. When the SRO got to the student, he was conscious. It was unknown if he lost consciousness. The parent responded and took the child into her custody.
