Crime Update for Parkland Florida

Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through October 2, 2023.

Burglary Conveyance

A victim of Burglary Conveyance on Bayside Court on 09/27/2023. The total estimated loss was $120. The victim stated she went inside the residence to clean her client’s home and left her vehicle unlocked. Upon returning to her vehicle, she noticed her beach bag was missing along with several items. The victim stated her credit card was used on Coral Ridge Drive.

A victim of Burglary Conveyance on 09/28/2023. The total estimated loss was $230. The victim advised that while his vehicle, a blue Kia Sportage, was parked in his driveway overnight, an unknown subject(s) entered his vehicle and stole $200 and 2 of his wallets with unknown contents in them. The victim advised his vehicle was left unlocked.

A victim of Burglary Conveyance on 10/02/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,100. An unknown person(s) entered the victim’s vehicles and stole two handguns.

Auto Theft

A victim of Auto Theft on 09/28/2023. A gray 2022 Audi Q5 was left unlocked with the key fob inside.

Theft

A victim of Theft – Bicycle on Holmberg Road on 10/01/2023. The total estimated loss was $100. Deputies initially responded to the reporting person’s residence about the above offender loitering in front of his residence. Deputies conducted an area check and located the offender in the community with a bicycle that he stole in front of the above victim’s residence.

Information

Information on NW 70 Avenue on 09/29/2023. The reporter believes he is being scammed through crypto.com.

Information reported on 10/01/2023. A white 2019 pickup truck was picking up the porta-potty and accidentally damaged the grass. A park employee asked for this to be documented in case they need compensation. The total estimated loss was $2,000.

Arrests

Goldwire, Angelo, Daniel, 39, was arrested on a Larceny – Grand Theft 750 Less Than 5k Dollars charge on W Hillsboro Blvd on 09/28/2023.
