Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of incidents that occurred in Parkland through June 3.

11000 Holmberg Rd. Westglades Middle School
On May 29, a 13-year-old student felt sick in class, felt faint, and was very weak. Coral Springs Fire Rescue responded but did not transport.
Battery
5900 block of Nw 99th Av. The Landings
On May 29, The Landings overnight security guard reported a delayed altercation with a male resident, who became irate after he knocked on his door and rang the doorbell to notify him of an open garage door.
Criminal Mischief
11900 Loxahatchee Rd. Palm Beach Grading
Between June 1 and June 3, an unknown person(s) entered the construction site without the owner’s knowledge and cut the water pump drain hoses. The construction manager Timothy Rogers last saw the uncut pump hose that Saturday.
Domestic Disturbance
7000 block of Nw 113th Av. Parkland Isles
On June 2, a domestic verbal disturbance occurred between husband and wife. Their nineteen-year-old son returned home and involved in a verbal altercation with his father. No physical confrontation occurred between any party. Mother and children left home to spend the night with a family friend.
Found Property
6575 Nw 76th Dr. Terramar Park
On May 31, a man found a wallet by the tennis courts at Terramar Park, while on a walk.
6650 University Dr. BSO Parkland
On June 3, Complainant provided found property recovered at Everglades Alligator Farms Park in Homestead Fl. The property belonged to two separate victims of vehicle burglaries that occurred at the park. Park police were contacted and informed of recovered property. One victim was contacted and advised how to recover the property. No contact with the second victim and recovered items entered into the property.
Fraud
10600 block of Nw 69th St. Fox Ridge
On May 29, an unknown person tried to open a credit card in the victim’s name.
7600 block of W Upper Ridge Dr, Cypresshead
On June 1, the victim called the Broward Sheriff’s Office Parkland District, to report Identity Theft on both her and her husband’s driver’s licenses.
7200 block of Nw 116th Way. Heron Bay
On June 3, the victim reported receiving a fraudulent phone call regarding transactions at her Wells Fargo Bank account. The phone call was followed by a female, impersonating a bank employee, arriving at her house and picking up her bank cards.

5901 Pine Island Rd. Marjory Stoneman Douglas
On May 29, Coral Springs Fire Rescue was requested to respond to Marjory Stoneman Douglas in response to a teacher not feeling well. The teacher was transported to the Coral Springs Medical Center by CSFR for further evaluation.
6650 University Dr. BSO Parkland
On May 28, a victim came into the Broward Sheriffs office Parkland district to report a delayed fraud.
8900 block of Lakeview Pl. Mira Lago
On May 30, a homeowner reported Juvenile had willing internet relations with another juvenile for over a year.
7300 block of Nw 109th Av. Parkland Reserve
On May 31, a school bus broke down due to a hydraulic pump failing. The hydraulic fluid spilled in the street along Parkland Reserve Blvd.
5901 Pine Island Rd. Marjory Stoneman Douglas
On June 3, a field test of cannabis under 20 grams was conducted.
Arrests
Falco, Marylynn Filomena, 31, was arrested on charges of Larc-Grand Theft 300 Less Than 5k Dols, at 5901 Hillsboro Blvd, Parkland, on 05/31/2019.
