The City of Parkland has announced the registration opening for Parkland Day 2024.
The event, set to take place on March 9, marks the 61st anniversary of the community event, offering a day filled with fun, entertainment, and community spirit.
Those interested in participating in the parade must submit their applications before February 2. Click here to access the parade application and to learn more.
This year’s theme, “Lights, Camera, Action,” will feature a cinematic extravaganza, with entries judged for creativity and adherence to the theme.
The parade route will begin at the corner of Pine Island and Nob Hill Road, making its way south on Pine Island to Trails End, then proceeding east on Trails End to the entrance of Pine Trails Park.
The highlight of Parkland Day is the grand parade, scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. Parade participants are requested to be in position for staging by 8:00 a.m.
After the parade, Parkland Day continues with activities starting at 4:00 p.m. Attendees can look forward to games, rides, a food court, and live music.
