Ternbridge Trail in Parkland.
Parkland residents can now enjoy the Ternbridge Trail, which reopened to the public this week.
Extensive cleanup work was completed on the drainage ditch next to the trail located north of Pine Tree Estates, just south of the Ternbridge community. The city’s goal was to restore and enhance the drainage system and remove overgrown vegetation so that it operates at or beyond its original capacity, according to Todd DeAngelis, spokesperson for Parkland.
The Ternbridge Trail is a popular paved pathway that is one of many throughout Parkland. People frequently walk their dogs, ride their bikes, jog, and take leisurely walks on the trail, according to DeAngelis.
“To revamp this area and stabilize its drainage efficiency is meaningful to our residents, particularly those who live adjacent to the trail and use it most frequently,” said DeAngelis.
