The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Eagles Battalion JROTC held a 20th-year commemoration ceremony to honor the lives lost on 9/11.
On Friday, the JROTC provided a two-man guard detail in the school’s courtyard beginning at 7:40 a.m. through dismissal at 2:40 p.m.
Throughout the day, the guard details took turns during their shifts. In addition to the guard details, Cadets Christopher Krok and Mason Wank performed the national anthem during both lunches.

The Eagle Battalion is comprised of 151 cadets. and is led by Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anders and Sergeant First Class Ramon Arias.
