Marjory Stoneman Douglas sent three basketball players from the boys and girls basketball team to the BCAA Championship on Wednesday at Blanche Ely High School.
Demarius Summer and Jhalen Phang, who were also invited to the Sixth Annual Sunshine State Premier Senior Games alongside teammate Nick Frazier, were selected after leading MSD to a record of 19-8. Summer led the team with 19 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, while Phang chipped in 13 and had 3.5 steals.
Caitlyn Dalton was the lone representative from the girls’ basketball team after the Eagles picked up wins against Piper, Boyd H Anderson, and Coconut Creek High School.
