Marjory Stoneman Douglas had two more seniors from the class of 2023 sign up to play in college before the next sports season officially begins.
After spending two years on the varsity soccer team, Mauricio Jimenez is set to debut for Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. As a senior, he helped lead the Eagles to a record of 11-4-3 and an appearance in Regionals by scoring twice and playing great defense.
Nicholas Frazier will play college basketball at Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens. The 2022 graduate played 26 career games in high school and averaged 7.6 points per game, while MSD went 18-9 in 2022.
