{Not My Daughter…Find a Cure Now!}
Community spirit shined bright on October 27 as Not My Daughter… find a cure now! hosted its 16th Annual Shopping Boutique & Luncheon at the Heron Bay Marriott.
The sold-out event brought together 550 guests from Parkland, Coral Springs, and beyond for a day of giving, shopping, and inspiration. It raised $200,000 to support vital breast cancer research, patient programs, and community outreach initiatives.
NBC’s TODAY Show health and nutrition expert Joy Bauer energized the audience with “Joy-pardy,” a wellness-themed game that kept everyone laughing and learning.
The ballroom buzzed with excitement as attendees browsed 40 local vendors, bid on raffle and silent auction prizes, and heard heartfelt stories from survivors and Dr. Alejandra Perez of UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
“We’re so thankful for the incredible community support that helps us continue our mission,” said Founder Denyse Hostig. “The funds raised will go toward our Not My Daughter Support Centers, expanding from Plantation to a new Deerfield Beach location, providing comfort and care for families facing breast cancer.”
